Here are the player ratings for the Barcelona players.

**Starting XI**

**Joan Garcia:** **8.0/10**

Played a solid game and made some important decisions throughout it. Unfortunately, he could not do much about the deflected goal that he ended up conceding.

**Eric Garcia: 7.5/10**

Performed well for much of the game and his defensive contributions were solid across the board. However, he should have done better in the play that ended up leading to the opposition’s only goal of the game.

**Pau Cubarsi: 8.0/10**

Exceptional with his passing as usual and his defensive actions were solid as well for much of the game. Unfortunate to concede to Galatasaray due to a deflected shot.

**Gerard Martin: 8.0/10**

Put in a similar shift to Cubarsi in this game and both Spaniards were solid for much of the game. However, he was a bit unlucky for Galatasaray’s second goal that was ultimately disallowed.

**Joao Cancelo: 8.5/10**

Opened the scoring for the Catalan giants with a brilliant finish and run. Apart from that, he made sure to tend to his defensive duties consistently as well throughout the game.

**Rodri: 8.0/10**

Provided consistent defensive cover and did extremely well to distribute the ball under pressure. His composure continues to elevate the game of the players around him as well.

**Pedri: 8.0/10**

Dictated the play brilliantly and was running the show for Barça for much of that game. The passing was brilliant and he created several interesting chances as well.

**Lamine Yamal: 9.0/10**

Gradually grew into the game and completely changed the entire scenario for Barça in the second half. Delivered two beautiful assists, and created several great chances even apart from that. Immense performance from the youngster.

**Fermin Lopez: 8.0/10**

Intense throughout his time on the pitch, the Spaniard was willing to do all the dirty work he needed to do for the team. He also managed to score from a Yamal assist with his head and give Barça their lead.

**Anthony Gordon: 8.5/10**

Missed an amazing chance to score when Yamal crossed the ball to him, but made up for it later with a finish from an even tighter angle. Apart from that, his runs were dangerous and his workrate was commendable as well.

**Dani Olmo: 8.0/10**

Grabbed an assist for Joao Cancelo’s goal and linked up well with his teammates. Unfortunately, Hansi Flick’s experimental formation with him at the top felt a bit underwhelming during the first-half for Barcelona.

**Substitutes:**

**Gabriel Jesus: 8.0/10**

Continues to impress with his quality on the ball and his defensive willingness even away from it. Fortunate to grab a lucky assist for Adeyemi’s goal.

**Karim Adeyemi: 8.0/10**

Scored just minutes after coming on with a brilliant finish. Apart from that, his runs were dangerous but he should have done more with them.

**Jules Kounde: 6.0/10**

Decent cameo from the French defender.

**Marc Bernal: 6.5/10**

Replaced Pedri and looked solid alongside Rodri in midfield.

**Gavi: N/A**

Not enough time or influence on the pitch to warrant a rating.
