The insults keep on coming for Manchester City after the club was found guilty of all but one of the 115 alleged financial charges over a period from 2009 to 2018.
Micah Richards was not a big-money signing from the Sheikh Mansour reign: he was an academy product who played for the club from 2005 to 2014. Still, he was ridiculed by CBS host Kate Scott on a panel alongside Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher.
Scott, hosting the show's first episode since City's guilty verdict on Sept. 25 (during the international break), started with his customary introductions of the CBS stars. Her joke about Richards got a belly-laugh from the onlooking Carragher.
"[We are] joined by a man who has won it all, a World Cup, a EURO, a Champions League, the Premier League, La Liga, Thierry Henry!" Scott started with Henry, sitting directly to her left.
"Next to him, a Champions League winner, also won what was the UEFA Cup and is now the Europa League; he won the FA Cup, the League Cup too, Jamie Carragher."
Finally, Scott turned to Richards. "And then, well this is awkward," she said of the former Man City man, drawing a chuckle from Henry and Carragher. "He already has less accolades than anyone else on set.
"For now, he is still a Premier League and a FA Cup winner until he has to mail those winners' medals back to somebody at Stoke or Manchester United. Big Meeks! Micah Richards."

Carragher was beside himself with laughter and clapped at Scott's speech. Henry chuckled at first before pivoting to a series of "Wow" and "Wowwwwws."
Manchester City pipped Manchester United to the Premier League title in 2011/12 on goal difference after a thrilling winning goal on Matchday 38 from Sergio Aguero. A year before, the Cityzens beat Stoke City in the FA Cup final.
The club launched an appeal against the guilty verdict on Oct. 1.
Those charges include 54 failures to provide accurate financial information, seven breaches of the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules, and 35 failures to co-operate with league investigations between 2018 and 2023.
Manchester City faced a barrage of boos at Anfield over the weekend. The clubs played an even match through 62 minutes before Ryan Gravenberch was sent off for a bang-bang second yellow card.
City scored three unanswered goals in quick succession and ran out of the enemy ground 3-0 winners.
