Will Wright continued his impressive start to the season with a hat-trick to inspire a remarkable comeback victory for Liverpool in their UEFA Youth League clash at LASK in Austria.
Wright notched a treble in the second half, with 15-year-old Luca Eden becoming the Reds' youngest-ever goalscorer in the competition as Rob Page's side recovered from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at the Voestalpine Stadion on Wednesday afternoon.
Liverpool had fallen behind midway through the first half when a miscommunication in defence over a long throw allowed Paul Krapf to score at the far post, with LASK's consistent pressure resulting in a deserved second six minutes into the second half when skipper Jonas Ilk headed in a corner.
Wright, though, turned the game on its head by notching twice inside three minutes around the hour, finishing confidently for the first goal after being released by Eden when Liverpool countered after LASK struck the crossbar, and then heading in a Finn Inglethorpe cross from the left.

Wright now has nine goals in eight games of a profitable season that has previously seen him net in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.
