Arsenal academy product Marli Salmon has been included in the club’s first-team squad photocall for this season.
Max Dowman, who was also present for last year’s photo, has been included again.
Salmon was seemingly officially promoted to the senior squad in the early stages of pre-season when he elected to keep the number 89 shirt that he had worn last campaign.
The centre-back, who can also play at right-back, was an unused substitute for the first-team against Lille in the Champions League last night.
In total the 17-year-old has made five competitive senior appearances for the Arsenal first-team, while he has continued to feature at youth level on occasion, often as captain.
As well as Salmon and Dowman, Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze are the other players in the squad who spent time in the academy.
William Saliba wasn’t present for the photo due to injury.
