After Lonnie Walker IV was waived by the Denver Nuggets ahead of the upcoming season, EuroLeague teams are sure to take notice of the former Maccabi Tel Aviv and Zalgiris Kaunas guard.
However, according to Maccabi chairman Shimon Mizrahi, who spoke on the Two Holding the Ball podcast, the team isn't looking to add any players despite their current 1-4 record in the EuroLeague, including Walker.
"At the moment, I don't see a situation where we need to bring in additional players or replace one player or another," Mizrahi said. "Remember, we have quite a few new players who still need to come together as a group.
"In any case, if the professional staff feels there is a need, they will bring it before us and we will make a clear decision on the matter."
He also addressed the possible addition of Walker directly.
"As for Walker, first of all, I never rule out any player under any circumstances, but I don't think we currently need Lonnie at that position."

On Monday, the Denver Nuggets made the decision to waive Lonnie Walker IV.
Walker IV joined the Nuggets via an Exhibit 9 deal this past offseason, accepting the challenge of competing for a potential roster spot within the NBA powerhouse and returning to the United States.
However, with the team's roster and wing logjam, Walker appeared in just two preseason games for Denver, played only 17 minutes total, and scored just 4 points.
He did not play in Denver's 133-128 home win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
Walker is in a strong position to return to Europe, especially after joining Misko Raznatovic and BeoBasket.
