Trey Jamison waived by Raptors
Trey Jemison signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors back in August. However, he suffered a hand injury during training camp and made only one preseason appearance with the team.
Toronto now has two available two-way roster spots, with guard Malachi Smith the only player currently signed to such a contract.
Assuming no other team claims him off waivers within the next 48 hours, Jemison will head to Toronto's G League affiliate, the Raptors 905.
Jemison has embraced a journeyman career since entering the NBA in 2023 as an undrafted free agent. He spent the past NBA season with the New York Knicks, where he won his first NBA title with the franchise.
He also spent previous stints with the Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and the LA Lakers.
