Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are all chasing more huge signings as we edge ever closer to the January window. There has also been another potentially key new development over Julian Alvarez, while Arsenal have been boosted in the race for Antonio Nusa.
Lisandro Martinez could leave Manchester United after his remarkable outburst that followed the Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid, while JJ Gabriel is said to want to join Real Madrid. Liverpool could try to hijack Chelsea’s pursuit of Scott, while a high-profile return to Anfield for Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to be rumoured amid links to Pierre Kalulu.
Tottenham and Manchester United could battle for Croatian striker Dion Beljo, with Spurs also said to be tracking Christian Kofane and Alex Baena as Real Madrid and Barcelona both chase Pedro Porro. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!
Lisandro Martinez could leave Man Utd after bombshell outburst
Lisandro Martinez could be shown the door by Manchester United after his bombshell outburst this week.
Martinez took aim at the club’s hierarchy in scathing criticism that followed Tuesday night’s 2-0 Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid that continued their miserable form this season and piled more pressure on under-fire manager Michael Carrick.
He has since doubled down on those words with a new statement released last night.
According to Sky Sports, Martinez’s future at Old Trafford is now in question, with “real doubts” over whether his contract will be extended when it expires next summer.
Julian Alvarez to Arsenal twist
There has been another new twist in the Julian Alvarez to Arsenal transfer saga.
The Gunners pushed hard to sign the wantaway Atletico Madrid striker during the latter stages of a hectic summer window, but he held out for a dream switch to Barcelona that never came.
However, there have since been suggestions that Alvarez could now be open to joining Arsenal as Barca move on to other targets after a bitter war of words with their LaLiga rivals.
In an interesting development, Alvarez has now parted ways with long-term agent Fernando Hidalgo and is said to be joining Rodri’s representative Pablo Barquero.

Arsenal eye shock Bazoumana Toure move
The Ivory Coast winger only joined Newcastle from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in a £42m transfer over the summer, but has already caught the eye of a number of Premier League rivals.
CaughtOffside claim that Arsenal and Manchester United are both closely monitoring the progress of Toure, having already been watching him before he made the switch to St James’ Park in July.
Tottenham and Aston Villa are also credited with an interest in the 20-year-old, who is under contract on Tyneside until 2031.

Chelsea handed Scott boost
Bournemouth have changed their stance and are now open to selling Chelsea target Alex Scott in January, writes Dom Smith.
Standard Sport understands that Bournemouth are open to selling their prized midfielder in the January transfer window if an offer of more than £100million comes in. Bournemouth sources say a sale will only happen in January if Premier League survival is looking likely.
Tottenham set for Solomon talks
Solomon joined Spurs on a free transfer in July 2023 after a FIFA ruling allowed foreign players at clubs in Russia and Ukraine to suspend their contracts immediately following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
At the time, Shakhtar threatened legal action, believing Solomon had a market value of around €20million (£16.9m), and they are now set to reignite those discussions after the Israel international moved to West Ham this summer for an initial £5m fee.
Arsenal get free run at Kenan Yildiz signing
The Gunners are believed to be long-term admirers of the Juventus and Turkey winger, around whom there was more transfer speculation late in the summer window before he needed surgery on a foot fracture.
Links to Arsenal - as well as Real Madrid - have persisted since then, with Bayern Munich also said to be interested in a big-money swoop for Yildiz.
However, BILD in Germany now claim that Bayern will not compete for his signature if other clubs come in with huge offers.
