Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards sent an explicit warning to the NBA, declaring that opponents should expect no friendly treatment against them this season: "We don't f*** with y'all. We don't give a f*** about you. Ain't no buddy-buddy s*** going on. Like, when y'all see the Timberwolves come in town, y'all n****s need to know they on bulls**t. We gonna file this s*** out you."
Ahead of the upcoming NBA season, the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards sent a warning to the league, claiming that when the Wolves are in town, every team should be alert.

"I ain't really got too much to say. We don't f*** with y'all. We don't give a f*** about you. Ain't no buddy-buddy s*** going on," Edwards said. "Like, when y'all see the Timberwolves come in town, y'all n****s need to know they on bulls**t. We gonna file this s*** out you."
Edwards also encouraged Timberwolves fans to buy season tickets, noting that those not in the arena will miss out.
"We with the boys. Yeah, we on that. Like, I just want y'all to know what's going on. It's a bunch of boys this year. Yeah, get your season tickets. It's gonna be turnt up this year," Edwards said. "Like, if you miss a game, you gonna miss out. Like, if you miss a game, you missing out."
"Like, you got the light skin, you got the brown skin, and you got the black a** n****," Edwards added while laughing and pointing at himself. "That's what's going on, bro. Like, we can't have it, bro. Like, you got three shades, and it's how you want this."
LeBron James fires back at Anthony Edwards over viral Adidas commercial
It's not the first time Edwards claims something bald. Recently, LeBron James fired back at the Timberwolves star over his viral Adidas commercial after Ant poked fun at LeBron's age and free-agency decision in the ad.
During a new episode of the Mind the Game podcast, Steve Nash asked James about Edwards' sneaker spot, which promoted the new Anthony Edwards 3 signature shoe.
"First of all, I did not watch the spot," LeBron said. "Because I don't watch anything from the stripes. Nothing. Love Ant to death, but I don't watch shit from the stripes. I just don't."
"The stripes" was a clear reference to Adidas, whose three-stripe branding is one of the company's trademarks. Edwards has been with Adidas since entering the NBA in 2020.
James, the face of Nike, said he was still aware of the headlines generated by Edwards' commercial.
"So, I don't even know what he actually said," James continued. "And obviously you can see some of the headlines. I think he said, like, he's old, too old, he ain't want his knees to be cold.
"But then I was like, 'But I went to Philly, Ant.' It's like now my knees won't be warmer in Philly. So, you need to edit some writing."
The 41-year-old LeBron then downplayed the idea that the comments represented any serious shot from Edwards personally.
"He just read off the teleprompter. Clickbaity," LeBron mentioned.
When Nash noted that Edwards had the personality to take shots at him, James welcomed the attention.
"Bring them at me. Bring them at me. I'm used to it," James said.
