Arsenal produced a fine second half display to cruise past French side Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
After a goalless first half, goals from Jurrien Timber, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka put the hosts in control at The Emirates.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit seventh in the 36-team group phase table, as one of only nine teams to have won both of their two games so far.
Next up for the Gunners is a return to the Premier League, with a game against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground on Sunday.
Arteta will be desperate to see his defending champions get the better of Forest, but in the meantime it has been revealed that the north London side could miss out on one of their top transfer targets.
According to Christian Falk, both Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, but the two Premier League clubs could both miss out on the player.
The report suggests that the Frenchman – who joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 – has attracted interest from a number of top clubs from across Europe.

Olise, 24, has scored 50 goals and provided 58 assists in 116 games for Bayern Munich across all competitions, although he was sent off against Viking in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The France international’s impressive form for Bayern has put him firmly on the radar of several clubs, with both Arsenal and Liverpool said to be among those monitoring the player’s situation.
Falk claims, however, that Olise would currently lean towards the idea of a move to Spain to join Real Madrid.
This could prove to be a huge blow for the Gunners and the Reds, with Real potentially leading the race to land the ex-Reading man.
