Kyle Kuzma is taking his business interests to the microphone with new podcast image
Kyle Kuzma’s next move off the basketball court will give him a new platform to explore a subject he has been increasingly open about: business.
The NBA champion is launching Read the Room with Kyle Kuzma, a new podcast focused on entrepreneurship, investing and the decisions behind building a career. The series will premiere later this month on Invested Inc., the financial media network founded by Brandon Harris.
Kuzma will speak with founders, investors, athletes, scientists and other cultural figures about the experiences that shaped their careers. The conversations are designed to look beyond polished success stories, digging into business ventures, major investments, breakthrough ideas and career pivots.
New episodes are planned weekly. Full video episodes will be available on YouTube, with audio versions on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other podcast platforms.

Kuzma wants listeners in the room
The show gives Kuzma a chance to bring audiences into conversations he says have helped shape his own thinking. His interests as an investor span technology, artificial intelligence, aerospace, consumer brands and sports ownership. The announcement names SpaceX, Nscale and Kalshi among the companies in his investment portfolio.

“I've always been curious about how people think, what drives them, and what inspires them to take risks and pursue big ideas,” Kuzma said in the announcement. He added that he hopes the series encourages listeners to stay curious, ask questions and explore opportunities of their own.
That curiosity is central to the podcast’s premise. Rather than focusing only on how a guest became successful, Kuzma plans to ask about the choices, risks and lessons that came along the way. The format also gives the guests room to discuss work outside the lanes where they are best known.
Invested describes itself as a financial media network built to educate everyday investors through newsletters, social media, live programming and original shows. Harris said the company wants to bring business and investing discussions into mainstream entertainment, and called Kuzma a strong fit because of his interest in entrepreneurship and his relationships across industries.

From NBA champion to business host
Kuzma was selected 27th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft after playing at Utah. He won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and now plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. The NBA lists him as a 6-foot-8 forward who has spent nine seasons in the league.
His basketball career has given him a high-profile platform, but Read the Room will center on the work he has pursued beyond the sport. Kuzma will also serve as an executive producer, alongside Harris and Austin Eastman.
The announcement does not yet name the podcast’s premiere date or its first guests. It says the show will launch later in October, with updates available through its social accounts: @ReadTheRoomWithKuz on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and @ReadTheRoomShow on X.
