An NBA preseason showdown will take place in the Windy City this week, as the Timberwolves and Bulls go head-to-head.
The Timberwolves have a revitalized roster heading into this season, and new addition LaMelo Ball is already making a difference on the court. Minnesota has gone 3-1 in the preseason, with their only loss coming against the Pacers. Anthony Edwards, Ball and Jaden McDaniels have all been showing promise for a solid campaign.

The Bulls have a lot of promise, but are struggling to translate it to wins. Chicago won its opening matchup against the Suns, but then fell in back-to-back contests against the Grizzlies and Nuggets. The Bulls defense is a weak point, but breakout players like Caleb Wilson and Leonard Miller are making up the difference on offense.
