Spirit Of The Blues Sweeps Into Denver
Colorado Evertonians Supporters’ Club were out in force last weekend as the Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest headed to Denver.
Hardy members from the fan group were undeterred by the 7am local time kick-off as they gathered at the Mile High City’s iconic Union Station to watch the Blues' 2-2 draw with Hull City.
Around 40 representatives of the group got the opportunity to meet former Everton and US Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard, while Evertonian singer-songwriter Christopher James – a member of the Colorado Evertonians – performed Spirit of the Blues live on NBC as part of an atmospheric build-up to kick-off.
Supporters from Everton’s North American Toffees Supporters’ Club network also came together at a separate event hosted by Colorado Evertonians on Saturday evening to celebrate the Fan Fest taking place in Denver for the first time.
Jerick Flores, Chair of Colorado Evertonians, said: “It was a special weekend for the Colorado Evertonians, and a great opportunity to bring so many Blues together.
"Being in the United States at a distance from the Club is a different experience, but weekends like this remind us we are a part of the Toffee Family."
John Lally, co-Chair of the fan group, added: "It was a brilliant weekend bringing together travelling Blues and our local Colorado Everton family.

“It also allowed us to welcome some new Blues into our ever-growing supporters' club, and that's what it's all about for us – bringing Evertonians together, building friendships, sharing our stories, and keeping the Everton spirit alive, no matter how far from home we are."
While in Denver, the Colorado Evertonians and North American Toffees network also took the opportunity to raise money for good causes.
The group collected donations and sold 'North American Toffees' scarves throughout the weekend, with proceeds to be donated to the Fans Supporting Foodbanks charity in Liverpool.
More than 13,000 people attended Premier League Mornings Live across the two-day event, with those enjoying the festival also having the chance to win an Everton home shirt signed by Blues and England No.1 Jordan Pickford.
