Knicks fans can now get their hands on a special Snapple bottle — without having to go on a scavenger hunt.

The brand announced on Friday, Oct. 16, that it’s releasing its limited-edition Knicks Championship bottle for purchase, after debuting the item at a series of “mystery” locations across New York City in June.

Ahead of the new NBA season, the commemorative bottle can be bought for $2.99 at bodegas in the N.Y.C. metro area beginning Oct. 19, while supplies last.

The brand is also launching an Instagram giveaway, offering the chance to win Knicks tickets and merchandise.

Celebrating the Knicks’ home opener, Snapple will also release a limited-edition cup with the same artwork as the bottle, available at the Snapple Mini Mart with the purchase of any Snapple.

The brand first dropped the limited-edition glass bottle to mark the team’s championship win after they defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 13.

However, rather than sell it in stores, the brand kicked off a citywide search for the collectible item.

“Snapple will release a limited run of Knicks bottles exclusively at a handful of ‘mystery’ locations across N.Y.C,” Snapple said in a press release on June 15.

The bottles’ locations were teased teased via clues. The brand partnered with N.Y.C. content creator @meals_by_cug to release hints throughout the week.

“It’s not just a collab – it’s a moment,” Snapple said at the time. “A championship, bottled by an iconic New York brand. A drop fans want to find. Pure New York.”

One day after announcing the promotion on Instagram, Snapple said the post had already become Snapple’s “most engaged ever” and demonstrated “just how deeply Knicks fandom and Snapple culture are intertwined in N.Y.C.”
