Linda Pizzuti Henry, wife of Liverpool owner John Henry, has sent an emotional message to Reds' supporters looking back on 16 years of Fenway Sports Group ownership of the club.
John Henry bought the club from Tom Hicks and George Gillett on October 15th, 2010, and has played an influential role in getting the club to where it is today.
On Instagram, Henry's wife Linda wrote: "When John and I were lucky to first became part of LFC in 2010 with Fenway Sports Group, I had no idea just how much this club, this city, and its supporters would come to mean to our family.
"What an incredible 16 years it’s been! The official close date was in October, and my first match was November 4th- a stunning Gerrard hat trick for a 3-1 win over Napoli.
"I was kindly welcomed and encouraged by Liverpool supporters as I set out to learn the culture of this historic club.
"We’ve celebrated many incredible victories together since then in our epic quest to win and restore the club.

"We experienced heartbreaking moments, met and worked with incredible people, and watched our kids grow up loving Liverpool. And we’ve celebrated the club collecting some pretty gorgeous silverware along the way (love this photo of our cabinet since 2010).
"I’ve loved learning the history and traditions of this club, hearing your stories, singing along at Anfield, and getting to know or hear from so many of you.
"Liverpool supporters have welcomed us, challenged us, made us laugh, and reminded us time and again what makes this club so special.
"I’m so proud of all the remarkable people who have worked so hard for Liverpool over the years. And so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with our family - this is truly a special community.
"16 years together, and I am filled with gratitude to be part of this with all of you. You’ll Never Walk Alone."
During FSG's ownership of the club, the Reds have won two Premier League titles, one Champions League, one FA Cup and three League Cups.
Despite their success on the pitch, some fans aren't necessarily pleased with the ownership of the club due to a lack of perceived investment.
The Fenway group, then trading as New England Sports Ventures, bought the Reds for £300m back in October 2010.
Almost 16 years on, the 20-time Premier League champions are now valued at £4.57billion by the highly regarded American financial publication Forbes.
Earlier this year, the club recorded revenues exceeding £700m for the first time in its history, posting a post-tax profit of £8m in its most recent set of financial results, published in February.
FSG announced that an Amit Bhatia-led consortium, featuring the founders of Facebook and Amazon, had completed an investment deal for a 30% stake in Liverpool FC believed to be worth around £1.4billion earlier this year.
