Ipswich Town head to mighty Manchester City tomorrow - so once again, we try to outthink all-knowing AI with our match predictions.
Last week, the clever cyborg and Stu both got the right result as Town beat Fulham 2-1.
Ross and I both also got points as we'd predicted a win, while AJ finished with nothing after backing a draw.
That means, after six games, AI remains top of the table on 13 points. Stu's next with seven, then Ross with five, me with three and AJ with two. That is a worryingly large gap to the cyborg already.
But it's a marathon, not a sprint... so here's what we're all going for tomorrow!
Remember the drill - we predict the result and first Town scorer.
The rules are:
Correct score: 3 pts Correct result: 1 pt Correct scorer: 2pts (3pts for a defender)
So the max score is 7 pts if we get the score bang on and back a defender to score first - and he does.
Here are our predictions!
AI: 2-0 City
"Ipswich have a chance. The 2-1 win over Fulham last weekend should give the lads some confidence, but this is a massive step-up in opposition.
"It will be a tough afternoon, but I think they'll make City work for it, rather than suffer a heavy defeat."
Stu: 4-1 City, Davis
"Guilty verdict appears to have created an us-versus-the-world mindset at City.
"They have some defensive weaknesses to exploit, but stopping an array of world class attackers is another matter."
Ross: 1-0 City
"A trip to Manchester awaits, and it's going to be an interesting atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium.
"Town need to make sure to hold City off early doors and frustrate them. I think Ipswich can be competitive in this game but think City will get the killer goal and that will be that."
Mark: 3-1 City, Maeda
"Obviously an incredibly tough test for Town and not one you can realistically see them getting anything from.
"Hopefully they really make City work for it though, and I can see Town snatching a goal, with the all-energy and effort Maeda my pick to do so."
AJ: 3-0 City
"I hope Ipswich can frustrate Man City. As much as I’ve enjoyed Gary O’Neil’s front-footed approach, I don’t think this is the game for it.
"A more pragmatic set-up will be the key to being competitive, in my eyes. That being said, I do think the hosts will simply be too strong for Town.
"I’m going with a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium."
