Brentford attacker Kevin Schade, an Arsenal and Liverpool target, could reportedly cost north of £60 million. The German has been with the Bees, initially on loan, since January 2023.

Schade, 24, has scored 25 times and provided nine assists in 120 games across competitions for Keith Andrews' side since his first-team debut in the 2022-23 season. Last campaign, he contributed eight goals and four assists - all in the Premier League - as the Bees finished ninth.

Although he's contracted to the GTech Community Stadium till 2028, Schade has attracted interest from the Gunners and Reds, as per TEAMtalk. Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be in the fray for the attacker, who has scored thrice in six league games this season.

The report says that although Schade's market valuation is around £42 million (as per Transfermarkt), the Bees could ask for over £60 million. Brentford are reportedly looking to extend the German's contract, which could push up his asking price, especially after Schade earned international call-ups from Jurgen Klopp's Germany.

The Arsenal target is currently plagued by a shoulder issue sustained during the 2-2 league draw with Aston Villa earlier this month, making Schade doubtful for the clash with the Reds tonight (October 17).

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have had decent starts to the 2026-27 campaign, especially the Gunners, whose only defeat came in the league - a 3-0 reverse at Brighton & Hove Albion - just before the extended international break.

Mikel Arteta's side bounced back with a 2-1 home league win over Leeds United last weekend, with Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes' strikes overturning James Justin's second-half opener.

After trouncing LOSC Lille 3-0 in midweek in the UEFA Champions League - where Bukayo Saka starred with a goal and an assist off the bench - the Gunners travel to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday (October 18). Three days later, they travel to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Liverpool recovered from a 3-0 Premier League home loss to leaders Manchester City with a 6-3 midweek UEFA Champions League win over LASK. They next take on Brentford away in the league tonight.
