Golden State Warriors are bracing themselves for a brand new campaign under their all-time great point guard Stephen Curry.
Drafted in 2009, Curry will start his 18th season with the franchise from the Bay Area, ready to compete in the stacked Western Conference.
Curry had a short interview last night for the official NBA radio, where they talked about numerous topics.
Among others, Curry was also asked to describe how much fuel he has left in the tank, and how far in the future he sees himself being active on the court.
Curry shared his plan for the remainder of his career
38-year old guard confirmed that he wants to play as long as he is capable of doing so:
“As long as my body gives me," Curry started.
"That’s the fun part about this stage of longevity, is you kind of take it in short, bite-sized pieces of offseason, get through the year knowing what you got to do."
"So obviously, I’m under contract for two more years plus the one, and I feel like that’s a good run to really fully commit to and then take it from there," he concluded.
Last year, Curry played in just 45 games for the Warriors, averaging 26.5 points, 4.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds on 31 minutes per match.
