Liverpool has been handed a boost ahead of its Premier League clash with Brentford, with Dominik Szoboszlai offering an encouraging sign over his availability.
The Reds travel to London to face Brentford, who sit fourth in the Premier League after an impressive start to the season under Keith Andrews. The Bees' strong form makes it a difficult test for Liverpool as they look to return to winning ways.
Liverpool will be hoping to welcome back several key players from injury, with their availability likely to depend on the outcome of fitness tests. Szoboszlai's absence was a significant blow ahead of Liverpool's defeat to Manchester City, having played almost every minute for Hungary during the international break before returning with a minor hamstring injury.
Szoboszlai has offered a fresh hint that he could be available for the game on Saturday afternoon after posting a matchday graphic on his Instagram Stories.
The Hungarian midfielder did not share a similar post ahead of the Reds' 3-0 defeat to City or their Champions League meeting with LASK, both of which he missed through injury.
Szoboszlai's availability would provide Iraola with a timely boost, with Liverpool already short of midfield options. Ryan Gravenberch is suspended after being sent off against Manchester City, ruling him out of Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture.
.Iraola has left the door open for Szoboszlai to feature, with the midfielder among three players who could return. If he is deemed fit enough to start, he is likely to be preferred to Trey Nyoni.

Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo could also return with the pair having to withdraw from their national team camps over the three-week spell.
Iraola was questioned on their availability in his pre-match press conference on Thursday. The manager responded: "It's early for us to say [on injury returns]. We have tomorrow in training, they weren't ready last night [against LASK]. We have to wait and see. I leave the chance open…”
Gakpo has made a significant improvement on last season, showing more of the quality he displayed in previous campaigns. The winger has registered one goal and three assists in the Premier League so far and has begun to develop a promising partnership with Isak, with the pair showing potential to complement each other in attack.
Isak has also made an encouraging start under the new manager. The 27-year-old has scored four goals in five appearances, already surpassing the three he managed last season under Arne Slot.
His early performances have offered signs that he could prove closer to being worth the significant fee Liverpool paid for him than he appeared to be during his previous campaign.
