San Antonio Spurs standout guard Dylan Harper is gearing up for his second season in the NBA after reaching the Finals in his rookie year.
Talking to media, the guard revealed that the Spurs have worked hard in the preseason and are as ready as it's possible to be for the season to start.
"I mean, as ready as we can be. I feel like we all have put in our due diligence and we've attacked this preseason the right way," Harper said.
"Obviously, going in with the right mindset and the right amount of details and I feel like we'll be good to go come Tuesday."
San Antonio will open their 2026-27 NBA season on Tuesday, against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals.

The San Antonio Spurs will begin their 2026-27 NBA season with Dylan Harper on their main lineup.
Mitch Johnson formally announced Friday that the rising star will start alongside De'Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, and Victor Wembanyama in their season opener on Tuesday.
With veteran forward Tobias Harris sidelined because of a left calf strain, Dylan Harper has benefited the most within the Spurs.
The sophomore guard started in all three of his preseason appearances this year, where he averaged 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.7 steals in 22.0 minutes of action.
He displayed high efficiency on the court by shooting 55.6% from the field and 62.5% from beyond the arc.
