Starting XI

Joan Garcia: 8.0/10

Nothing much he could do about the goals that he conceded, but his overall performance was solid once again. Made some important saves and his distribution and decision making were both solid as well.

Jules Kounde: 7.5/10

Played the pass that counted as the assist for Lamine Yamal’s goal, and his general game was solid as well. Decent outing from the Frenchman in this game.

Pau Cubarsi: 9.0/10

Put his body on the line to deliver an assist to Eric Garcia, and played another great pass to Dani Olmo for his goal as well. Beyond that, his defensive reading of the game and his intensity were both amazing.

Gerard Martin: 7.5/10

Started the game and looked promising during the first half, but unfortunately had to be taken off for the second half due to some physical discomfort.

Xavi Espart: 7.0/10

Despite some promising moments sprinkled throughout the match, Xavi Espart was undeniably having a rough time. Lack of commitment led to the first goal that Real Betis scored, slipped a few times, and his decisions on other occasions were not ideal as well.

Rodri: 8.0/10

Not his best game for Barça and he clearly struggled a bit more in certain scenarios than he normally does. Still, he helped the team with a goal from a set piece that showed another benefit of having the Spaniard in this team.

Completely ran the midfield for Barcelona and created a handful of promising chances as well. Beyond that, his distribution and defensive actions were both instrumental to this win as well.

Lamine Yamal: 9.5/10

There is simply no stopping this maniac, and he continues to produce his magic irrespective of who he faces. The best player in the world, and he proved that once again with a sensational goal, a perfectly-weighted assist, and several other moments of pure magic.

Fermin Lopez: 7.5/10

Delivered a great cross to Rodri for his goal and his intensity was amazing throughout the game as well. However, he left the pitch a bit frustrated and could have had more of an impact for Barcelona.

Karim Adeyemi: 7.0/10

Frustrating performance in front of goal by the German forward. Squandered quite a few promising opportunities and had some questionable decision-making throughout the game.

Gabriel Jesus: 8.0/10

A bit sluggish at times and should have done eay better with his clearance for the first goal that Real Betis scored. Still, he managed to add to the scoreline later on and redeemed himself with a goal as well.
