Ousmane Dembele recovered from a missed penalty to score a goal and provide an assist as Paris Saint-Germain staged a late comeback to beat Strasbourg 3-1 away on Saturday in matchday seven of the French Ligue 1.
Strasbourg took the lead in the 17th minute when Giovanni Reyna's deflected shot beat PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage at halftime.
Dembele came off the bench in the 63rd minute, replacing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as PSG searched for an equalizer.
The French winger had a chance to level the score in the 72nd minute after PSG were awarded a penalty following a VAR review, but the reigning Ballon d'Or winner sent his spot kick wide of the right post.
He made amends just five minutes later, delivering a cross from a quickly taken corner that Illya Zabarnyi converted from close range to equalize.
Dembele then completed PSG's comeback in the 85th minute, collecting a loose ball inside the penalty area before firing a left-footed shot past Strasbourg goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.
Desire Doue sealed the victory in the third minute of stoppage time, tapping home Ferran Torres' pass after Dembele helped launch the attack.
The victory lifted PSG to second in the Ligue 1 standings with 14 points from seven matches, level with leaders Monaco ahead of their game on Sunday, while Strasbourg remained on seven points.
