Everton suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday afternoon.
David Moyes’ side were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Pedro Neto scoring a brace.
Everton fans were very critical of Moyes after the game as they felt his team selection and substitutions cost them.
The Toffees boss controversially started Merlin Rohl on the right flank and failed to bring Tyler Dibling off the bench, not even for a few minutes, as they chased a goal.
With that said, Moyes is now forcing Dibling to make a really big decision ahead of the January transfer window.

The first of many.
The first of many.
Moyes is embarrassing, hall isn't a10. sit down and think other than hold on to the ball, but then pass back what does grealish do? Our teams reflect the manager. Nervous boring timid, yesterday the game crying out for drive and creativity from midfield. He brings on a injured defensive mid with no legs. The poor lad didn't have a chance.
David Moyes leaving Tyler Dibling little choice but to consider his Everton future
Everton shelled out £40m on Dibling’s signature during the summer transfer window in 2025, and so far it’s been an underwhelming signing.
Moyes quite simply hasn’t given the 20-year-old enough opportunities to prove his worth, as he only started four Premier League games last term.
Many somewhat understood that approach from Moyes, but they all expected Dibling to get much more game time this term, especially after a good pre-season and some excellent cameos off the bench.
However, the England under-21 international is still struggling to get any game time and against Chelsea, he wasn’t even brought off the bench.
Dibling showed promising signs during his four-minute cameo against Hull City last weekend, so it was completely baffling to see Brennan Johnson subbed on instead.
It wouldn’t at all be surprising if the Everton winger and his representatives are now considering an exit in January.
Dibling will certainly have picked up some key experiences over the last 14 months, but this period of his career now seems to be stunting his development.
Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig were considering Dibling in the summer, so a loan move to Germany could be on the cards in January.
