The injury bug giveth, the injury bug taketh away. Just as FC Barcelona got Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong off the injured list and back into the rotation…they have new injury concerns in Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin. They all suffered injuries of some sort in the 5-2 win over Real Betis yesterday. Both Garcia and Kounde will miss out on Tuesday night’s blockbuster, #1 vs #2 in the table Champions League match on Tuesday night.

Kounde suffered an ankle sprain, but there is hope that he’ll be back for El Clasico, one week from today. As for Martin, his ankle injury is apparently not a big deal, as he was not included in today’s medical update. His omission implies that he’s ok, but we’ll see.
With Garcia though, the news is not as good. He’s got a thigh injury, and he’ll miss out on the next three-to-four weeks. Elsewhere Gabriel Jesus was seen limping at the weekend, but apparently, the ex-Arsenal striker is fine. There was no update on him either.
Shifting gears to PSG, just two injury concerns right now, and both concern the younger players.
Midfielder Senny Mayulu and goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni both missed the win over Strasbourg with dead legs, so neither situation is very substantial.
