Rio Ngumoha has picked out two England teammates who have helped him develop with the Liverpool ace now operating on both the left and right flanks for club and country.
Andoni Iraola wants his wide forwards to be comfortable on both sides of the attack, and Ngumoha impressed for Liverpool down the right-hand side at Brentford at the weekend as he helped Liverpool to a narrow victory over the Bees, who were down to 10 men for the second half.
Coming on when Jeremie Frimpong almost instantly suffered a hamstring injury after the Dutchman's introduction, the 18-year-old drove forward at will alongside Victor Munoz.
Ngumoha was one of a few players to be decisive in West London and he spoke to reporters at the final whistle.
"Playing on the right was good for England, but also watching the likes of Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka," Ngumoha said.
"They are top, top wingers, so training with them every day and just seeing what they do, that can really help me. I take some of the stuff they tell me on board, and it is really helpful."

Ngumoha is relaxed about his contract situation too, insisting that he just wants to focus on what is happening on the field.
"To be fair, that is all with my agent now," he added. "I think it is all going well. I am not too sure. I just let the football do the talking at the end of the day.
"I enjoy playing and all of that stuff is in the back of my mind really. I just play for the club, play for Liverpool, and hopefully I can carry on doing well."
Now 18, Ngumoha is expected to pen new terms following on from the first professional contract he signed in September 2025.

Iraola has used Ngumoha less than some might have thought so far this term, but his management has been sensible. The teenager added that he is happy with his game time and the increased competition from the likes of Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool.com says: Ngumoha also spoke about his transition from the left wing to the right, which he says is helpful in making him more "unpredictable".
Being able to play in both roles should mean that his game time increases. He appears to be in some decent form at the moment and could start against Villarreal on Tuesday.
