LFC reveals latest collectable Champions League programme cover

The limited-edition programme for Tuesday’s match against Villarreal is available to [**purchase online here**](https://store.liverpoolfc.com/matchday-programme-lfc-vs-villarreal-champions-league-20102026), or at the Anfield, Liverpool ONE and Williamson Square stores from Tuesday afternoon, as well as at official programme sales points around the stadium from four hours before kick-off on matchday.

Following the [**opening instalment from Abigail Rudkin**](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/lfc-works-local-artists-create-unique-champions-league-collectable-artwork), the project sees artists create bespoke cover designs for selected Champions League fixtures throughout the campaign, giving supporters the opportunity to collect a series of exclusive programmes.

As a lifelong Red, Weisberg has channelled his passion for the club into a portfolio of LFC-inspired artwork.

Created exclusively for the official matchday programme, his latest design brings the streets surrounding Anfield to life, depicting supporters making their way towards the stadium beneath a dramatic sunset. The illustration captures the anticipation and atmosphere that define a European night in Liverpool.

Having attended his first match at Anfield during the club’s treble-winning 2000-01 campaign and remaining a regular matchgoer, Weisberg draws on his connection to LFC to bring an authentic perspective to the latest addition to the artist-edition series.

“When I received the email asking me to create a Champions League programme cover, I genuinely had to read it several times,” he said. “Designing a matchday programme cover has always been a dream of mine, so seeing that become a reality is something I’ll always treasure.

“I’ve supported Liverpool my whole life and some of my favourite memories are from walking the streets around Anfield before a game, taking in the artwork, the atmosphere and the anticipation as kick-off gets closer. That’s the feeling I wanted to capture with this piece.

“With the evenings drawing in and autumn setting in, I was inspired by the drama of the sun setting over Anfield ahead of a big European night. Bringing those elements together felt like the perfect way to celebrate the occasion and my connection to the club.”

The artist-edition cover series celebrates Liverpool’s creative talent, bringing together football, art and storytelling to give supporters a unique collection of programmes to treasure throughout the Champions League campaign.
