Månsson has made 19 appearances for IFK Göteborg across all competitions in 2026, registering four assists. The midfielder has started 14 of those matches, establishing himself as an increasingly important member of the Swedish club’s first-team squad despite his young age.
The Sweden youth international is under contract with IFK Göteborg until December 2028, meaning the club remain in a strong position regarding his future. With several Premier League sides reportedly tracking his development, the coming months could prove significant for the 17-year-old as he continues to gain valuable senior experience.
Arsenal’s recruitment team continues to focus on players who fit the club’s long-term strategy under Mikel Arteta. Technical quality, tactical intelligence and versatility remain key attributes as the club assesses potential additions ahead of the new campaign.
The club has consistently looked to add players capable of primarily improving the starting XI, particularly with the demands of competing in the Premier League and Champions League. Arsenal are expected to strengthen multiple areas of the squad in the foreseeable future and continue to monitor players across Europe and South America.
Arsenal are expected to make several important decisions regarding the composition of the squad. While strengthening key areas remains a priority, the club could also consider offers for certain players if it helps fund new arrivals and maintain financial flexibility.
