All eyes have been on the Philadelphia Eagles to start the week after news broke of Jalen Hurts missing the rest of the season due to blood clots reaching his lungs. As much as there was an uproar about Hurts playing despite the team knowing about the blood clots, there was even more discourse when it was reported that he stayed up for 36 hours before the game.

Hours later, Tom Pelissero of the Ringer shared an updated message from Hurts' agent, Nicole Lynn, about the sleeping situation.

“Just spoke to Jalen Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, who clarified that while Hurts was up until early Sunday morning getting evaluated at a hospital, he was able to sleep upon rejoining the team and the Eagles set aside a room for him at the stadium. Videos from the stadium show Hurts coming onto the field just before kickoff and he felt rested enough to play,” Pelissero wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
