Seahawks Designate OL Anthony Bradford For Return

The Seahawks will soon be getting some reinforcement on the offensive line. The team announced that guard Anthony Bradford has been designated to return from IR.

The lineman sat out Week 2 with hip and knee injuries, and he was subsequently placed on injured reserve. If this week goes well, he will be activated when first eligible ahead of a Week 7 showdown with the Chiefs.

“If he has a good week [of practice] he’s going to play a significant amount, if not the whole game,” coach Mike Macdonald told reporters (via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times).

A 2023 fourth-round pick, Bradford has been a relatively consistent starter throughout his tenure in Seattle. This includes a 2025 campaign where he started all 17 regular season games and three playoff games en route to a Super Bowl championship. Pro Football Focus has never been particularly fond of his performance, ranking him towards the bottom of the league among guards. However, the site has been a bit bullish on his run-blocking ability.

Christian Haynes and rookie Beau Stephens have both seen some time at right guard while Bradford’s been sidelined. The Seahawks have otherwise been remarkably healthy on the OL, with Charles Cross, Abraham Lucas, Grey Zabel, and Jalen Sundell not missing a snap through six weeks.
