Liverpool are back in Champions League action on Tuesday evening when they look to maintain their 100% start to the competition with the visit of VIllarreal. And the Reds have already discovered who they can call upon for the clash against a side they have progressed against in their two previous meetings in Europe.

Liverpool have two new absences with both Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong forced off during the Premier League win at Brentford on Saturday.

Szoboszlai has aggravated a previous hamstring problem and is likely to miss several games, while Frimpong is not expected back until after the November international break having suffered a muscle issue.

And there is concern over Victor Munoz, who missed training on Monday having picked up a knock on Saturday, although at the time he was able to continue and went on to score the equaliser.

Three other Liverpool players will definitely miss the game as they continue to recover from long-term injury.
