It is claimed that the Englishman’s difficulties in establishing himself as a regular starter have resulted in growing frustration among all parties.
The Gunners are “unconvinced” that Eze is the answer to their problem on the left wing.
He has also fallen further down the pecking order in the attacking midfield position, with Martin Ødegaard remaining Arteta’s first choice.
Eze is not the only Arsenal star struggling for regular game time, though, with Viktor Gyökeres’ future also being questioned.

Eze’s current Arsenal contract runs until the summer of 2029.
The 28-year-old has made just four Premier League appearances so far this season, all of them coming from the bench. Eze has played only 84 minutes in the competition, failing to register a goal or an assist.
It represents a significant change from his first campaign in north London, when he made 32 Premier League appearances, scoring seven goals and providing two assists as Arsenal secured the title. Despite playing an important role in that success, Eze has struggled to establish himself in Arteta’s starting XI this season.
