Florian Wirtz has shown his class once again as he took time to meet with fans before Liverpool's clash with Villarreal, with one particular supporter showing her appreciation in an emotional moment.
The 23-year-old has certainly divided opinion since joining the Reds last summer, as he continues to try to justify the huge price that was paid for him.
The first season was seen as an adjustment period, one that saw him struggle to settle, but with the added context of being in a Liverpool team that wasn't even settled in itself. This campaign, however, expectations have risen. There is hope that Wirtz can show the sort of quality that prompted his transfer switch, with mixed signs of that being the case so far.
The German international had struggled early on, as some supporters and pundits lose patience with him, while more recent displays have shown signs that he can impose himself on games and make key contributions.
While the fanbase is seemingly split on Wirtz's position, the playmaker has shown little sign of discontent and continues to push and show the sort of qualities that are wanted from a Liverpool player.
That includes taking time to meet up with fans before the game, as he was spotted speaking with supporters outside the team hotel in one moment with a supporter who had gotten emotional around him.
The encounter ended with signatures being handed out, as well as photographs, capping off a touching moment with the fanbase before he takes to the pitch at Anfield.
It goes to show the class of the playmaker, who is still ensuring that he puts in the time and effort to make memorable moments for the Liverpool fanbase.
He will be hoping for plenty more plaudits to come his way if he continues to show his very best qualities on the pitch in the weeks and months ahead, after some recent impressive performances.

Plenty of debates have raged on about Wirtz and whether he can make it at Liverpool, but that hasn't stopped him from being a class act on or off the field.
While things haven't always gone his way, and discussions continue to surround his place in the team, he has been everything that a player at Anfield should be in terms of his attitude and application.
As a result, so many are desperate to see him succeed. Whether he can is another matter, but it's clear that he has the quality to do so, with the support and setup around him to get the most out of him.
