Spurs, OKC announce final lineup for epic NBA opening night clash

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs are set to wrap up the first day of the 2026-27 NBA season with their big-time showdown.

Tuesday's game will mark a rematch for both title powerhouses, as the Thunder and the Spurs notably went toe-to-toe in seven gruelling games of the previous 2026 Western Conference Finals.

Ahead of the 8:30 PM ET showdown at Frost Bank Center, OKC and San Antonio have finally revealed their respective starting fives.

OKC announce starters vs. Spurs

The Oklahoma City Thunder will face the San Antonio Spurs with their new core lineup.

Two-time MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way for OKC, as he is joined by Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Wallace finds himself as a new regular starter for OKC following the offseason trade departure of Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks.

Victor Wembanyama leads Spurs starters vs. Thunder

On the side of the reigning Western Conference champions, Victor Wembanyama is at the front for the San Antonio Spurs.

Along with the French superstar, the Spurs' official lineup includes De'Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, and Devin Vassell.

Harper earns the starting gig for the Spurs in the wake of Tobias Harris still recovering from his calf injury. The sophomore sensation is expected to remain a starter in the foreseeable future.
