Jalen Brunson can only be candid about the humbling experience he and the New York Knicks received on the night they celebrated their rings and raised their 2026 championship banner.
Speaking to reporters after their 106-100 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, Brunson offered a reality check for the Knicks as they begin their season and title defense.
"I think it's good for us to kind of get knocked down off the mountain, humble ourselves, put our egos in check and see what's going to happen," Brunson said.
"I've told you guys since day one, whatever happens his first couple weeks of the season, that's gonna show who truly are. So, let's see."
