Harry Kane is preparing to face Arsenal once again, having played against the Gunners many times during his years at Tottenham before moving to Bayern Munich. The England captain will come up against Arsenal in the Champions League, with both sides targeting a victory.
Kane has enjoyed plenty of success against Arsenal throughout his career, scoring several goals in the North London derby. Bayern will hope he can continue that record by delivering another strong performance and helping them secure an important result.
The striker knows the quality Arsenal possess, having faced them regularly during his time in the Premier League. However, Bayern also have a talented squad and will be determined to show they can compete with Europe’s leading clubs.
Kane relishes the Arsenal challenge
The meeting brings together two sides considered among the contenders for the Champions League title. Arsenal remain hungry for success after reaching the final last season, while Kane is eager to win the competition with Bayern.
For the German side, this fixture offers an opportunity to measure themselves against one of the strongest teams in Europe. Arsenal will also be keen to demonstrate their credentials as they continue their pursuit of the trophy.
Kane is looking forward to the occasion and believes playing against top opposition is something to enjoy. Speaking via Bavarian Football Works, he shared his excitement ahead of the match and highlighted the importance of Bayern’s home support.
“When you’re playing against one of the best teams in Europe, you always have to savour moments like this. We’re up for the challenge. We’re playing here at home—the energy, the fans—it’s sure to be a special night. We need to carry the momentum we had against Leipzig into Wednesday’s game. We’re expecting a tough match, so we need to approach it with a clear head. We’re all looking forward to it.”

With both teams targeting European glory, Kane and his teammates know they must approach the contest with concentration and confidence.
