Olmo had to be replaced in the first half at the Parc des Princes and is now set for a spell on the sidelines.
“Tests carried out confirm that Dani Olmo is suffering from an injury to his left adductor muscle as a consequence of a collision with an opponent during the game against Paris Saint-Germain,” read a club statement.
“The player is expected to be out for around a month.”
Olmo joins Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen in the treatment room at Barcelona. Jules Kounde is also sidelined but it’s hoped he could be passed fit for Sunday’s El Clasico against Real Madrid.
As for Olmo, he’ll also miss games against Alaves, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal in La Liga as well as the Champions League fixtures with Aston Villa and Sabah.
