Bayern vs Arsenal, Team News and Confirmed Lineups
Bayern Team News
Revealing the latest on head coach Vincent Kompany, assistant manager Aaron Danks said: “Vincent has a viral infection. It’s important that he gets some rest. We’re monitoring the situation constantly and will see how he is tomorrow.”
Bayern will have to do without Michael Olise, who is suspended following his red card against Viking.
Discussing whether Manuel Neuer will be back following a foot injury, Danks said:
“We haven’t made the decision yet. Manu has been on the pitch for two days, which is brilliant. We’ll decide with the coaching staff and Vincent.”
Arsenal Team News
During his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta gave the latest news on the availability of Martin Zubimendi and Piero Hincapie:
“Zubi is back with us, so he will be involved tomorrow, and Piero, let’s see if he’s able to train in the next few days as well; he can be available for Everton, which is great news.”
“Well I’m really looking forward to the game, this is the stage, this is the kind of team, this is the kind of coach, this is the kind of club, the stadium that you want to be involved in. So we have prepared the game with lots of enthusiasm, and really thrive to come here and win the game tomorrow,” said Arteta regarding the magnitude of facing Bayern.

The Last Word on Bayern vs Arsenal
This is a mouthwatering game for all involved, especially the neutral. Despite talented players being unavailable, there will still be plenty of ability on display. With Harry Kane on the pitch, Arteta’s defence will need to be watertight. Luis Diaz will also be a huge threat if he starts as expected.
The Gunners will be travelling to Germany with only winning in their mind. Despite not being at their very best since the international break, they have once again shown an incredible will to win, where they find a way to get that key goal.
A win either way wouldn’t surprise me, but with the home advantage and the ability they have, we are backing Bayern to get the win.
