Arsenal are at the Allianz Arena to take on Bayern Munich in the league phase of the Champions League tonight.

We head into the game off the back of a narrow 1-0 win away to Nottingham Forest. It was a pretty poor performance at the City Ground on Sunday so Mikel Arteta will be hoping for an improved display against Bayern this evening.

The boss has made a couple of changes from the side that won at the weekend but David Raya starts once again between the sticks. Jurrien Timber replaces Ben White at right-back while Riccardo Calafiori continues at left-back with Piero Hincapie still out.

Ezri Konsa was superb against Forest so it’s no surprise that he continues alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle of Arsenal’s defence with William Saliba still working his way back from injury.

Bruno Guimarães keeps his place in midfield alongside Declan Rice while Martin Odegaard captains the Arsenal side once again.

Noni Madueke grabbed the winner at the weekend after coming off the bench at half-time. He’s rewarded with a start tonight which means Eberechi Eze has to settle for a place among the substitutes.

Kai Havertz leads the line up front for Arsenal so Viktor Gyokeres remains on the bench along with Max Dowman and Mikel Merino.

This could be a good opportunity for Arsenal to get a result as Bayern are without some key players, while Luis Diaz has been put on the bench so they are far from their best.
