There appears to be a virus among us. At least in the Bucs locker room.
Yeah, yeah. Joe knows who some will point to as the virus. But seriously, the fact that on Wednesday’s injury report that “illness” is listed so often for players makes Joe think there’s a real virus going around One Buc Palace.
Riley Dixon, Bucky Irving, Calijah Kancey, Zyon McCollum and Chase McLaughlin were all listed as having an “illness.” Bucky and McCollum missed all of practice on Wednesday as a result.
Kancey was limited while Dixon and McLaughlin gutted their way through the full practice.
Another lowlight of the injury report was that Emeka Egbuka suddenly popped up with a concussion. He did not practice. Neither did Luke Goedeke (calf) and Christian Rozeboom (finger).
So it isn’t just quarterback Baker Mayfield that the Bucs are worried about for Sunday in Carolina.
