The Jets injury report for October 21 features Breece Hall sitting out Wednesday’s practice, while Adonai Mitchell and Dylan Parham participated on a limited basis as New York prepares to host the Miami Dolphins.
Aaron Glenn left the door open for Hall to progress during the week. The Jets running back is dealing with a quad injury, but Wednesday’s absence does not establish his availability for Sunday.
“He won’t practice today, and we’ll see how tomorrow operates to see how he goes during the week,” Glenn said.
Glenn praised Hall’s approach to his recovery, saying he has attacked the process with the same intensity he brings to preparing for a game. Getting him back on the practice field would be an encouraging next step, but that remains something to monitor.

Adonai Mitchell Working Back, Sunday Still Uncertain
Mitchell’s limited participation gives the Jets another situation to watch as the week unfolds. Asked whether the receiver’s availability would come down to pain tolerance, Glenn confirmed that was a factor.
“Yeah, I would say that. I would say the pain tolerance deal,” Glenn said. “So again, we’ll see how that goes as the week goes.”
Parham is also beginning to work his way back into practice. His progress bears watching as the Jets look to get healthier on offense heading into a division matchup.
Mauigoa and Ossai Remain Week-to-Week
Glenn described Kiko Mauigoa and Joseph Ossai as week-to-week. Both missed Wednesday’s practice, along with running back Kene Nwangwu.
The coach sounded more optimistic about T’Vondre Sweat and Will McDonald. Both were limited, but Glenn said he expected each to be fine. Their participation over the next two days will provide a clearer picture.
Omar Cooper Jr. Gives the Offense a Lift
Glenn also discussed Omar Cooper Jr.’s return from injured reserve and the additional dimension he brings to the passing game.
“I don’t want to say that it surprised me, but it was just good to see that we have another weapon back and doing the things that we expect him to do,” Glenn said.
The coach highlighted Cooper’s deep-ball ability alongside his work after the catch. With Mitchell still working back and Hall’s status unsettled, having Cooper available gives the Jets another offensive weapon as they prepare for Miami.
Thursday’s practice should offer the next meaningful update, particularly on Hall and whether Mitchell can increase his workload.
