Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca issued a fitness update on his squad ahead of Saturday's lunchtime Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
The Blues return to domestic action this weekend after returning to winning ways in the UEFA Champions League courtesy of a 5-1 league phase win over AEK Athens, with Phil Foden scoring a brilliant hat-trick.
Maresca made eight changes to his line-up against the Greek champions on Tuesday night to use the fixture as an avenue to rest key players as Manchester City navigate a demanding fixture calendar.
City have made a perfect start to the Premier League season and after a narrow win over Ipswich Town last week, the Blues travel to Birmingham to take on Unai Emery's Aston Villa this weekend in search of an eighth consecutive triumph.
How are Man City looking in terms of fitness ahead of the weekend?
Antoine Semenyo missed the midweek European rout of AEK Athens after suffering a knee injury off the bench against AEK Athens that will keep the Ghana international out of action for around two months.
Erling Haaland was given Tuesday off to rest and recuperate after struggling to walk in the dying moments of last week's league win over Ipswich Town.
Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes went off with fitness issues against the Tractor Boys as well, with Nico O'Reilly also suffering a back problem in the warm-up but starting against AEK Athens, against whom the England international was taken off in the second-half.
Man City fitness latest ahead of tricky Aston Villa trip
Speaking in a press conference on Thursday morning, Maresca handed a comprehensive update on his squad's fitness as Manchester City look to go strength from strength and take all three points at Villa Park on Saturday.
The Manchester City manager confirmed that Haaland is 100 percent fit and available to start on Saturday, though a decision will be taken on the respective availabilities of Kovacic, Nunes and O'Reilly after Thursday's training session.
"We have a session this afternoon. They can be all available or not. Yesterday [on Wednesday], they were all improving and we'll see this afternoon," the Italian said.
"Erling [Haaland] is the only one 100 percent available and the other three - we need to wait for today's session."
How could Man City line up against Aston Villa?
Manchester City fans will take note of Maresca's team selection against Aston Villa, with Foden the name on everyone's lips to keep his place in the starting XI for the third time in a week after scoring four times in as many days against Ipswich Town and AEK Athens.
Maresca will take cognisance of the games on Manchester City's horizon and not rush any of his players back to the line-up, though the strength in-depth possessed by the eight-time Premier League champions does alleviate any short-term personnel concerns.
Rayan Ait-Nouri could be called upon to make a first start in the Premier League this season if O'Reilly is not fit to start, with Josko Gvardiol also going through the motions of playing regularly.
Kovacic's absence is unlikely to be felt as much, given the abundance of quality possessed by Manchester City in the middle of the park. Abdukodir Khusanov could come in for Nunes at right-back, with Rico Lewis also vying for a start after grabbing two assists for Foden in midweek on a rare start for the 21-year-old academy graduate.
