Manchester United and AC Milan are also believed to be admirers of the Brighton star.
Ayari’s current Brighton contract expires at the end of the season, and there are doubts over whether he will extend his stay on the south coast.
This has put several top clubs on alert, including the Gunners.
However, Brighton do have an option to extend Ayari’s deal for a further year.

Ayari has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, scoring twice in six Premier League appearances for Brighton. The Sweden international has started all six matches, finding the net against Coventry City and Crystal Palace as the Seagulls have established themselves among the league’s early frontrunners.
The midfielder also made 29 Premier League appearances last season, registering three goals and three assists. His versatility has become one of his biggest strengths, with Ayari capable of operating in both defensive and attacking midfield roles, making him an attractive prospect for clubs looking to strengthen their options in the centre of the pitch.
