Liverpool prepare to welcome Brighton to Anfield on Sunday, with kick-off set for 2pm.

The fixture was moved from its original Saturday slot after Brighton’s qualification for the UEFA Conference League league phase.

Andoni Iraola’s side head into the weekend on the back of a 2-1 comeback win at Brentford.

Victor Munoz and Alexander Isak scored second-half goals to overturn Keane Lewis-Potter’s first-half opener, leaving Liverpool fifth in the Premier League table on 12 points, one point behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Brighton arrive at Anfield full of confidence. Fabian Hurzeler’s side thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Amex last weekend, a result that underlined their free-scoring form this season.

They also beat Arsenal 3-0 last month and scored three in a narrow defeat to Chelsea in August.

Brighton currently sit third in the table, five points above Liverpool. Liverpool have won five of the last eight meetings between the two clubs.

According to Liverpool, the club will wear a different logo on the front of their shirts for this weekend’s game.

The Standard Chartered logo will be replaced by the Play On logo for the men’s fixture against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday November 22.

The same swap will take place a day earlier, when Liverpool FC Women host Chelsea on Saturday November 21.

Play On is a joint initiative between Liverpool and Standard Chartered. It aims to address the issue of girls dropping out of sport at twice the rate of boys by the age of 14.

Supporters can also bid for exclusive matchday experiences to mark the campaign. Auctions include mascot places and the chance to take part in a half-time penalty shootout.

All proceeds from those auctions will go to LFC Foundation, supporting programmes designed to keep girls in sport. The auctions are open until Friday November 6.

Signed match-worn and match-prepared shirts from the two fixtures will also be auctioned. Further details on that sale are expected in the coming weeks.

Last year’s Play On front-of-shirt logo swap campaign raised close to £100,000 for the same cause.
