Down with the “illness.”
Brace yourself Bucs fans. When you tune to the Bucs game at Carolina on Sunday, you may think you are watching something other than an NFL regular season game.
You may think you are having flashbacks to an August worthless preseason game. Why? Because several key starters are ailing and did not practice today for the 1-5 Bucs.
Emeka Egbuka and Luke Goedeke did not practice today. Egbuka is in concussion protocol. Goedeke has a calf issue.
Additionally, Bucky Irving is still under the weather suffering from the ever-popular “illness,” and was limited today. So the Bucs could be down three key starters for Sunday.
Chris Godwin also did not practice but his excuse was labeled “rest” by the Bucs. Joe can’t blame Godwin. We all need a break from this team, don’t we?
On defense, Christian Rozeboom missed his second straight practice with a bum finger.
Zyon McCollum (illness) and A’Shawn Robinson (rest) were limited in practice today.
Why is Joe starting to have flashbacks to last year, and the offensive line trainwreck in 2025 with Goedeke missing time? Then again, the Bucs had a winning record this time last year.
Now with a healthy offensive line, this team stinks out loud. Go figure.
