The Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers are set to meet in a marquee Eastern Conference matchup to further headline the NBA's opening week of the 2026-27 season.
After spoiling the New York Knicks' championship and banner party in last Tuesday's opening night, LeBron James and the Sixers will look to win again on their home turf against a reloaded Cavs team making their season debut led by Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.
Ahead of Thursday's 7:00 PM ET showdown at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, the Cavs and the Sixers have finally revealed their starters.
Cavs announce starters vs. 76ers
The Cleveland Cavaliers will rely on their core four of Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, alongside newcomer Peyton Watson.
Watson landed in Cleveland as the Cavs' biggest offseason acquisition this past offseason, as the talented wing left the Denver Nuggets via a sign-and-trade deal.
Watson will make his first official Cavs debut.
76ers reveal starting lineup against Cavaliers
On the other hand, the Philadelphia 76ers will still go with their star-studded five against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe are in at the backcourt, with LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid completing the Sixers' starters.
After a resounding, all-out effort to beat the Knicks in the previous opening night, James and the Sixers will aim to beat his former Cleveland team to go for an impressive 2-0 to being their season.
