The Dallas Cowboys are preparing to welcome the return of cornerback Cobie Durant and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown back to the lineup.
Overshown, a former third-round pick, suffered a hamstring injury in the season opener and has missed the last five games. [According to DallasCowboys.com](https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/cowboys-injury-roundup-overshown-durant-trending-toward-return-vs-eagles), Overshown is expected to be on a pitch count.
"We play on Monday, so now I've got to wait an extra day, but I'm excited," Overshown said. "I've definitely taken this rehab, this recovery, very serious. I've been trying to get back on the field since the week after I got out. Getting this opportunity to go this week, I'm thankful that I'm still able to get to do what I love."
Overshown is projected to take Dee Winters' spot at outside linebacker as Winters is dealing with an Achilles injury.
Durant, meanwhile, has also been out due to a hamstring injury incurred in the Week 2 matchup with the Commanders. Durant was limited on Thursday.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Dallas will not have one of the league's best return specialists in wide receiver KaVontae Turpin, who exited the Week 6 loss to the Packers early with a rib injury. Cowboys Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters that it'll be a week-to-week injury for Turpin.
