As LA has released its initial injury report ahead of Friday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, Sexton is no longer listed as unavailable.
Collin Sexton sustained a right calf muscle strain (soleus), which forced him to miss the Los Angeles Lakers' entire preseason action.
He was also made inactive to play in the Lakers' opening-night victory against the Golden State Warriors due to precautions.
With Sexton no longer on the injury report, he is finally set to make his Lakers debut against the Clippers. Anticipation is high for the guard as a key backcourt unit and contributor behind Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
Sexton signed a two-year, $19.2 million contract with the Lakers during the 2026 offseason, emerging as one of the new faces for the franchise.
