The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic had a night he would like to forget against the LA Clippers on Friday.
Despite the Lakers' 125-117 win against their city rivals, Doncic struggled and recorded a new career worst.
Doncic finished the game with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and a career-worst 11 turnovers, surpassing his previous high of nine, which he had recorded six times.
Besides that, Doncic also shot 8/21 (38.1%) from the field and 2/8 (25%) from the three-point range in the team's second straight win to start the season.
So far in the first two games of the season, Doncic is averaging 25.5 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists on 38.5% shooting from the field in around 34 minutes of playing time.

While Luka is not showing his best basketball to start the season, his new teammate Walker Kessler is shining with the Lakers.
Walker Kessler is proving that he's the center the Lakers have been looking for in recent seasons.
Kessler scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games for the first time in his five NBA seasons, finishing with an impressive stat line of 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 6 blocks, all while shooting 10-of-14 (71.4%) from the field in 35 minutes against the Clippers.
Doncic praised the 25-year-old center for his unbelievable impact. While Doncic noted he is not surprised by Kessler's game, he stated that the big man is simply proving a lot of people wrong.
"Unbelievable, honestly," Doncic said postgame, praising Kessler's impact. "We know what we're getting, I'm not surprised by how he's playing. He knows how to play this game, he played for a long time. I'm not surprised but the fact that he's doing it, just proving a lot of people wrong is just unbelievable."
Serving as a major lob threat on offense, an elite rim protector on defense, and a high-motor player on both ends of the court, Kessler fits perfectly with this new-look Lakers team.
Through his first two games, he's averaging an incredible 24.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks, while shooting 84.6% from the field.
