Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been handed a much-needed boost ahead of Everton’s visit to the Emirates Stadium later today.
Gunners trio Piero Hincapie, Martin Zubimendi and Max Dowman were all spotted during the team walk this morning after recent injuries.
Hincapie only recently returned to full training following an ankle injury earlier this month.
The Arsenal defender was not involved against Nottingham Forest last weekend but could be available for selection against Everton.
Zubimendi also got injured during the warm-down against Leeds United, and he is back on his feet.
Dowman’s toe was accidentally stepped on by Ben White during the pre-match warm-up at the Allianz Arena ahead of the Champions League game against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
With Bukayo Saka set to spend weeks on the sidelines due to an injury, having Dowman available is a huge boost for the North Londoners.
The 16-year-old and Noni Madueke will have to step up in the absence of the 25-year-old, who suffered a quad injury inside the opening 10 minutes against Bayern.
The Gunners need to win today against a tough opponent, and Arteta will fancy his side’s chances with the availability of the above trio.
The Toffees have lost just once in seven Premier League games this term and will be desperate to leave Emirates with a result.
Arsenal need to be on top of their game today, and another win will be huge as they look to maintain their current momentum going forward.
