Arsenal
Arsenal are reportedly interested in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi of the January transfer window, as per the latest transfer news. His recent Champions League performances have attracted attention across European football, while his former teammate Christos Tzolis could offer a link between the two clubs. However, Brugge are reluctant to let the forward leave midway through the season
Nicolo Tresoldi catches Arsenal’s attention
As reported by The Sun, Arsenal are evaluating a move for Tresoldi as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his options in the attack. The German Under-21 international has made a great start to the 2026-27 season, scoring 9 goals in 12 games in all competitions. His performances in the UEFA Champions League have drawn particular attention. Tresoldi scored against Aston Villa before producing a hat-trick in Club Brugge’s 4-3 victory over Inter Milan at San Siro. Those goals have helped raise his profile among clubs looking for a reliable young striker.
Arsenal’s interest comes as Arteta continues to assess his options up front. Kai Havertz has featured regularly in the Premier League, while Viktor Gyokeres has yet to score in the Gunners’ opening Champions League matches. Tresoldi could offer another option in attack. However, his current form alone does not guarantee that the Premier League club will make a formal offer in January. The club would need to consider his price, his role in the squad and Brugge’s willingness to negotiate.
Nicolo Tresoldi’s Club Brugge stats for the 2026/27 season so far, as per FOTMOB:
Competition Appearances Goals Assists Successful passes(%) Chances created
Belgian Pro League 7 4 0 79.7% 5
Champions League 4 3 0 78.9% 1
Could Christos Tzolis help Arsenal make a move?
Arsenal already have a connection with Club Brugge after bringing in Christos Tzolis during the summer transfer window. The Greek forward and Tresoldi played together in Belgium season and both finished among the top scorers in the league. Tresoldi netted 19 goals in 40 league games while Tzolis came two goals short. Their past partnership could make a reunion at Arsenal a possibility. Tzolis would already be familiar with how Tresoldi plays, which could help them adapt quickly if they were to team up in North London.
Having a familiar teammate is not enough to seal a move. Arsenal would still need to agree on a transfer fee with Club Brugge and assess whether Tresoldi fits their plans for the rest of the season. The financial side could be a challenge. Club Brugge reportedly turned down a £30 million offer from Roma in August.
Tresoldi’s current valuation is said to be around £42 million. As reported by TEAMtalk, AC Milan are also keeping an eye on him and his childhood support, for the club might play a role in his final decision.

Club Brugge stand firm over Tresoldi’s future
A January transfer now appears difficult. Brugge have no intention of selling Tresoldi during the winter window. The Belgian club expects to demand a fee above the €40 million they received for Tzolis. Tresoldi’s growing reputation and his strong start to the season could push his future transfer price even higher.
That stance could force Arsenal to wait until the summer before making a serious attempt to sign him. Brugge have little reason to weaken their attack midway through the campaign, especially while the striker continues to deliver in domestic and European matches. For Arsenal, monitoring his progress may be the sensible move for now. A strong second half of the season would give the club more evidence of his ability to maintain this level.
