Manchester City faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Nicolas Jackson found the back of the net. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Erling Haaland equalised for the visitors with a good header in the 52nd minute. However, Jackson scored again for the Villans just eight minutes later as Man City crashed to a lackluster 2-1 loss away from home.
